Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

The Union and Atlanta ended up with a draw 0-0

Game Updates

90+8’- The ref has blown the whistle to end the game. The Union end up getting zero shots on goal, but were able to magically leave Atlanta with 1 point.

90+4’- Play is stopped as Burke goes down and the training staff is out trying to stretch out his thigh.

90+2’- Just hand BLAKE the MVP award please, the guy has literally kept the Union in this game.

90+1’- We will have at least 6 minutes of stoppage time here.

87’- Uhre comes off for Donovan.

85’- This was by far the most dangerous the Union have been in this game, and it ends with the offsides flag coming up on Gazdag.

77’- Curtin making a like-for-like change here bringing on Harriel for Mbaizo.

76’- Nothing but quality chances for Atlanta, their latest series of shots go off the post and the shot off the rebound goes way over the crossbar.

73’- Another game-saving save for Blake.

68’- Atlanta making a double switch bringing on Cisneros and Mosquera to replace Dwyer and Araujo.

67’- Union making the first change in the game bringing Burke on for Carranza.

63’- Service is sent to the far post and nothing comes out of it.

62’- A yellow card is shown to Purata after a high arm to Gazdag. Staff is out to look at him. Union also getting a free kick about 45 yards out.

55’- Corner kick here for the Union. This comes from the near flag. It’s sent towards the far post but a foul is called on the Union.

50’- Glesnes and BLAKE doing what the two of them do best, stopping the ball from going into the back of the net. Blake now getting looked at by the training staff.

46’- Game gets back underway and neither team elected to make any changes.

HALFTIME

40’- Free kick for the Union from about 35 yards. Union talking over who will take the shot. McGlynn hit it directly into the wall, waisted free kick.

31’- Corner kick for the Union, their first of the game and it amounts to nothing.

28’- First shot of the game for the Philadelphia Union and of course it’s Gazdag putting a ball through for Carranza but the shot goes over.

19’- Another corner here for United. The kick is coming again from the near flag. The cross is sent to the far post and the shot goes over the crossbar.

10’- Play is stopped after a collision of heads between Carranza and an Atlanta United Player. The replay shows Carranza comes in late for a header. He is also booked with a yellow card for that late challenge.

5’- We have the first corner of the game and it’s awarded to Atlanta from the near flag. Service is sent to the top left corner of the penalty area and is easily handled by the U.

1’ – The game gets underway in Atlanta. The U are in the electric blue kit.
