It’s been a near universal reaction that there were snubs for the Phillies when it comes to representatives for the All-Star Game in Atlanta. Zack Wheeler and Kyle Schwarber were worthy choices, but the general consensus is that the team had three other deserving candidates in Trea Turner, Cristopher Sanchez and Ranger Suarez.
Which brings us to our question of the day: which player of that trio is the bigger snub?
You have the NL leader in hits in Turner, a pitcher who is 11th in baseball in pitching WAR in Sanchez and a starter in Suarez who has had as impressive a run his past ten starts as anyone in baseball. None of them would be a bad choice to make the squad once the initial list was announced yesterday, but alas, we are here. Someone will make it, either as an injury replacement or a replacement for a pitcher who is working the days before the exhibition. So, which is your choice?
