You know this.
You know this probably because either a) you have heard about the Phillies being behind the Mets on a broadcast somewhere of the game, or b) you have checked the standings at least in the past few days.
Some people like to make sure they are looking at the standings to keep track of where their team needs to get to in order to be in the pole position to gain a playoff spot. After all, pennants can’t be won this early in the season, but they can be lost (or however the saying goes). Others don’t look at the standings until a certain point in the season. Maybe that’s Memorial Day, Flag Day or somewhere even later.
It brings us to our question of the day: when is it that you look at and start paying attention to the standings? Are you one that is always watching, always keeping up with others around you? Do you avoid them at all costs until a certain date on the calendar?
