Rain, rain, go away, the Phillies will play some other day.
There was supposed to be baseball last night. But the best laid plans of mice, men, and large green flightless birds from the Galapagos often go awry. There was rain, and so there was no baseball, not in Philadelphia. The Phillies got to bask in the glow of yet another Zack Wheeler win for one more night, and the Padres had to stew in the bitter bog of defeat.
