Yesterday’s matchup between Tarik Skubal and Zack Wheeler was a bit of a dud from the Phillies perspective. While Wheeler was alright, he’s not been his usual self of late. In face, he’s the second pitcher on the team’s staff (Ranger Suarez being the other) that has seen a bit of a dip in his velocity lately. It might be something, it might be nothing.
But it is something to watch.
