Handsome Dave returns!
Honestly, we shouldn’t be surprised that David Robertson chose the Phillies to sign with. He’s been here twice, knows the team and is exactly what they need moving into the second half. Does it preclude them from jumping feet first into the trade market? Absolutely not. In fact, it probably means they’re going to continue swimming in those deeper waters of relief pitching now that they have already added a reliever.
Good move, Dave. Now get a bat too.
