Will the Phillies ever score again?
Another day, another shutout. That’s right, the Phillies were blanked for the second straight game against the Houston Astros last night. They wasted another strong pitching performance from their starter, this time it was Zack Wheeler going six innings and allowing one run. The offense collected 7 hits but went 1-5 with runners in scoring position and stranded seven men on base. They’ll look to figure out a way to score a run this afternoon and salvage a game in Houston.
