Much has been said about the Rob Thomson-Nick Castellanos defensive substitution controversy this week. We’re not going to go over it again in detail because you’ve heard about it by now. But baseball has a funny way of being so unpredictable it’s almost like it’s scripted ahead of time. One of those moments was when Castellanos, still in the game in the ninth inning last night, made a leaping grab at the wall to end the game and preserve the win.
