Hello divisional play!
When was the last time that the Phillies even played a team from their own division, opening weekend? Taking on the Marlins and Mets over the next seven games, they still won’t see the Braves for quite a while.
Ah, I see there were some games sprinkled in there against the Nationals. Completely forgot those existed.
These are important games. Divisional opponents, even as bad as Miami, are always a pain to play. Best to go for the throat early and often.
