There really isn’t much left to say other than: pay the man.

The faint flicker of a dream of signing Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. is dead and gone, as is the likelihood that Kyle Tucker would want to come to Philadelphia. That leaves a player that really is the perfect match for the team right now in their cycle of competitiveness. Just figure out what needs to get done and get it done.
