That start from Cristopher Sánchez was so reassuring wasn’t it?
Sure he struggled with command at times, but that’s not necessarily to be unexpected after an 8 day layoff. He was able to complete five innings of work and throw 87 pitches in his first start back from forearm discomfort that rose alarm bells.
Frankly, the results didn’t matter as long as he finished the game healthy, which it appeared he did. If he doesn’t feel any discomfort or pain today, then that’s about all you can ask for after a serious injury scare.
