The Phillies begin a series against the Senior Circuit’s Chicago club at 2:20 ET; the Cubbies and their faithful still hold the torch of daytime baseball aloft. The venerable Wrigley Field, after all, was the last MLB stadium to have lights installed. But the NL Central contains multitudes: The Cincinnati Reds were the first MLB club to host a night game. Their opponent in that historic contest? None other than the Fightin’ Phils.
