Gamethread 8/28: Diamondbacks at Phillies

Coming off a wild walkoff win should feel a lot better than this. But by now, we all are aware that the Phillies baseball gods have a twisted sense of humor and I don’t even know what to say at this point.

If you haven’t already checked out Leo’s piece on Kyle Gibson, you should. I don’t want to jinx anything, so I won’t say much about him. But I will say that I feel a lot better with him on the mound than I do some of the other starting pitchers the Phillies have dragged out so far this season.
