Phils look to get back to .500. Again.
The Phillies’ goal tonight is to win, of course, but that would accomplish a few other things:
- win first series since April 16-18 when the Cards came to town
- avoid falling two games below .500 for the first time this season (currently 13-14)
- get back to .500 for the 9th time (!) already
For a lot of reasons, it would be great to keep that streak going tonight, and in a nationally televised game, at that.
Zach Eflin takes the ball, with a lineup that welcomes back both Bryce Harper (wrist) and J.T. Realmuto (hand), and, with Didi Gregorius (Covid list) returning last night, is about as complete as we’ve seen it in a little while:
