Castellanos O 1.5 Total Bases +130
It started out as a fantastic season for one of the Phillies’ newest acquisitions Nick Castellanos, but recently the Right Fielder’s play has faltered. Castellanos is hitting just .233 in the month of May and slugging .400, compared to his season numbers of a .271 average and a slugging percentage of .484. While the rest of the Phils’ lineup riddled with lefties have gotten hot facing an uptick in right handed pitching, Castellanos has cooled off. This year he’s hitting .233 and slugging .398 against righties, but hitting .378 and slugging .568 against lefties. I write all of this to say that May has not been Castellanos’ month, but I fully believe he’s due and there’s no better spot to cash in than against Dodgers’ left handed starter Julio Urias. Not only does Castellanos mash against lefties, but in a limited sample size against Urias, Castellanos is 3-for-6 with a double. Castellanos will get at least two opportunities against Urias in tonight’s contest and is due to have a multi-hit game and/or smack an extra base hit. Take Castellanos to get over 1.5 bases tonight with plus money. To get over 1.5 bases Castellanos needs to either hit 2 singles, or one extra base hit, an extremely obtainable feat AND you’re getting that at +130 value.
