Philadelphia Eagles Opponents for 2026 Schedule Revealed

December 24, 2025 by Last Word On Pro Football

The Philadelphia Eagles clinched the NFC East with a win in Week 16 over the Washington Commanders. Now that they are locked in as division champions, their opponents for the 2026 schedule have become much clearer.

Philadelphia Eagles 2026 Opponents

The Philadelphia Eagles schedule will include all NFC division winners in 2026 now that they have clinched the NFC East. Currently, there are no other teams in the NFC that have clinched their division. In the NFC North, the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers are still alive, but Chicago is a heavy favorite to win the division. The NFC South is in a similar situation. The Carolina Panthers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are fighting for the division title. The final division winner the Eagles will face is the winner of the AFC North, as the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens are still in contention.

They will face the AFC South and NFC West next season, as the divisions they match up with rotate by the season. The NFC West has been the best division in football this season. If those teams are able to continue their success into next season, they will be tough matchups for the Eagles. The AFC South has also been surprisingly strong. They usually have the reputation of one of football’s weakest divisions, but not this year. They have three teams with a winning record, and two that will be in the playoffs.

Home Games

The Eagles will play nine home games in 2026. They will play all three divisional opponents, the New York Giants, Washington Commanders, and Dallas Cowboys. They will play the winner of the previously mentioned AFC North and NFC South, likely the Steelers and Panthers.

The home matchups from their NFC West opponents will be the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks. The Eagles are fortunate to have these games at home as they will be among their toughest opponents. They will also face the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts in Philadelphia in 2026.

Road Games

Among the Eagles road trips will be to Dallas, Washington D.C., and New York for their divisional opponents. The only division winner they will travel to next season will be the winner of the NFC North. If the current standings hold, the Eagles will be heading to Chicago for a rematch of their Black Friday matchup.

For their NFC West foes, the Eagles will travel to Arizona and San Francisco, matching up with the Cardinals and the 49ers. The last of their opponents are the remaining NFC South teams. Road trips to Tennessee and Jacksonville await them, as they match up with the Titans and the Jaguars.

Philadelphia Eagles Schedule

While the opponents are known, the NFL does not release the official schedule until the offseason. This usually happens in the middle of May, so Eagles fans will have to wait until then to start booking road trips. All in all, though, the Eagles schedule is not as daunting as it has been in years past as the Philadelphia Eagles look for back-to-back-to-back NFC East titles.
