Kelce officially announced his retirement back on March 4, putting a bow on what’s sure to be a future Hall of Fame career.
“Stepping on the field was the most alive and free I had ever felt,” Kelce said during his emotional 45-minute speech. “There was a visceral feeling with football, unlike any sport. The hairs on my arms would stand up. I could hit somebody, run around like a crazed lunatic and then get told, ‘Good job.’ I love football.”
He’ll certainly be missed on the field but he has a ton to look forward to off of it.
