After months of speculation, Howie Roseman got his guy, as the Eagles traded up ten picks and gave up No. 53 overall to land Cooper DeJean out of Iowa.
Philadelphia now has a third-round pick, No. 78 overall, while selecting the one player that can make Vic Fangio’s defensive scheme that much more dynamic. DeJean can play multiple positions, including the nickel cornerback spot, outside cornerback spot, and deep safety, and he will dominate in the kick return game.
With the pick now official, here’s the instant social media and Twitter reactions.
