There is only one highlight you need to see from Campbell’s college career.
The Philadelphia Eagles traded up one spot, from No. 32 to No. 31, in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft in order to select Alabama Crimson Tide linebacker Jihaad Campbell. It is a pick that was roundly praised across the internet and various pundit roundtables, but that’s not really what I want to talk about.
I want to talk about the time Campbell unleashed holy hell on Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart.

Alabama and Ole Miss are SEC rivals, so the games are always hard-hitting, but this hit was special. As Dart was scrambling towards midfield, Campbell stood him up and knocked his helmet clean off! The newest Eagle delivered a blow right to Dart’s chest that caused such a reverberation through his body that his own helmet popped off onto the field!!
As luck would have it, for Campbell not Dart, the former Ole Miss signal caller will have to face the former Bama linebacker twice every season, as he was picked by the New York Giants in the first round on Thursday night too.
