Kylie and Jason Kelce have quickly seen themselves become NFL royalty over the past couple years. And while the wife of the former All-Pro center says her husband is pretty low maintenance, she does what she can to treat him like a king on Father’s Day.
In a recent interview with People.com, Kylie revealed her and her family’s plans for the dad-centered holiday — saying that it’s usually the day Jason gets to kick his feet up a bit.
“I usually call him off of all dad duties that day. He will most definitely not be changing diapers or helping with potty time,” Kelce shared.
“So, at the very least, he does get that. And he also usually gets to sleep in. I’ll remove the girls from the house in the morning. We’ll go and get some baked goods or some bagels — definitely, a large coffee — and we’ll bring that back as a treat.”
Kylie also teased her and her daughters’ gifts for Jason this year which sound adorable.
“Not to spoil anything, but there’s a lot of rocks at the beach, and our girls are fascinated with rocks. So we’re taking some paints down to the beach today and we will hopefully be decorating rocks for Dad that he can keep as tokens of their love,” she said.
Kelce added that Jason is “pretty easy” to please and that they’ll probably just end up doing a barbecue where the girls will present him with his rocks.
Sounds like a Sunday well spent.
