If you played the 2017–2018 Philadelphia Eagles, you might remember being dominated through the air by Alshon Jeffrey, muscled across the middle by Zach Ertz, or run over by LeGarrette Blount and Jay Ajayi.
On defense — being submarined by Malcolm Jenkins. You might even have spoken with Brandon Graham. Talked to for the entire game, that is.
One player that you didn’t want to encounter was Bryan Braman.
If you played on Special Teams against the 2017–2018 Philadelphia Eagles, you may have also run into another unforgettable heat-seeking missile on special teams.
That heat-seeking missile was Bryan Braman.

Braman joined the Houston Texans during the 2011 season and quickly became a fan favorite, often making tackles without a helmet. During the 2012 season , he even blocked a punt and took it in for a touchdown against Indianapolis.
In 2014 — he signed a two-year deal with Philadelphia. In August 2017, he briefly moved to Louisiana to join the Saints but was released after being placed on injured reserve. He re-joined Philadelphia in December 2017 for one of the most memorable postseason runs in franchise history. He even blocked a punt in the 2018 NFC Divisional Round Playoffs against the Falcons and had one tackle in Super Bowl LII.
Now, Bryan Braman is facing another battle. Diagnosed with life-threatening cancer — a rare form of the disease that requires CAR T-cell therapy — Braman is undergoing that treatment currently , and has had to sell both his home and vehicles to support the cost.
Friends have set up a GoFundMe page for donations.
It’s the least that we can do for an Eagles player who gave so much.
