Mychal Kendricks spent the 2020 season with the Washington Football Team, but appeared in just one game.
Prior to his stop in D.C., Kendricks spent two years with the Seattle Seahawks and seven years with the Eagles. In nine years, the veteran linebacker has 548 total tackles, 52 tackles for loss and 19 sacks.
Prior to Kendricks’ sentencing, there were already concerns surrounding his career in football. He dealt with a serious knee injury last year, putting his immediate future in question.
After receiving just a one-day jail sentence, most expect Kendricks to continue trying to play football. If he can stay healthy, he’d be a valuable veteran pickup for teams in need of experience at the linebacker position.
