Outside of DeVonta Smith, the Philadelphia Eagles‘ wide receiver depth chart is a bit unsettled. The team added another piece to the mix today.
Philly has signed former Colts wideout Zach Pascal to a one-year deal, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The 27-year-old worked under Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni when Sirianni was the offensive coordinator in Indianapolis.
Pascal made the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Old Dominion in 2018. He posted 150 receptions for 1,888 yards and 15 touchdowns over four seasons.
Pascal’s most productive campaigns were 2019 and 2020, but he still managed 38 catches for 384 yards and three scores last year.

The Eagles are understandably building their wide receiver group around Smith, the No. 10 overall pick in last year’s draft. Quez Watkins and Jalen Reagor were Philly’s second and third wideouts in 2021, but neither is a foundational piece.
It has been reported that the Eagles were interested in trading for Calvin Ridley, and now they have added Pascal. We’d expect Philadelphia to possibly sign another vet and/or target a wide receiver early in the draft in April.
