DeVonta Smith told me he can make an impact with the Eagles day 1 + he believes the Eagles offense will be “dynamic” around Jalen Hurts who he played with at Alabama pic.twitter.com/VNq5Dz4wN0

DeVonta Smith has a quiet confidence about himself that empowers everyone around the Heisman Trophy winner. Those intangibles should translate immediately to the NFL and the former Alabama star is confident he’ll make an immediate impact for the Eagles from day one.
Smith destroys press coverage and everything he does well coincides with what Philadelphia struggled so badly with last season.
His production against SEC competition is the selling point for Smith who during his final season in Tuscaloosa, logged 117 catches for 1,856 yards and 23 touchdowns.
Smith also had no durability issues (54 games in four seasons) against the best competition in college football, a stat that should make Eagles fans sleep easier at night.
