Even though this might not happen anytime soon, it didn’t stop one NFL Insider from predicting an AJ Brown trade to happen sooner rather than later. Bleacher Report suggests that the Super Bowl champions could be willing to trade Brown in a possible scenario before his value declines. This makes sense to a certain extent, as the Eagles have already won a championship. If they continue to operate without Brown, they might be open to trading him to a team in need of a consistent offensive weapon.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts is a system quarterback, so he could depend on the run game from standout Saquon Barkley and pretty much make any receiver ferocious in the aerial attack. The trade itself will be a shock, but if it means building draft capital for the team’s future, they could take a deal depending on what type of offer they receive. Originally selected in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the former Ole Miss product has not shown any signs of slowing down, recording three straight seasons of more than 1,000 receiving yards and 25 touchdown receptions with the Eagles. However, Brown isn’t getting any younger, so it’ll be interesting to see what the team does years from now.
For the sake of this article, let’s put together a list of four possible dream teams that might pull off a trade.

Breaking: NFL Insider Predicts a Stunning Blockbuster AJ Brown Trade – 4 Future Next Teams?
Best Fits
Los Angeles Chargers
If the Los Angeles Chargers want to continue to improve their postseason chances, they need to be willing to spend for the best talent out there. After failing to meet the needs of acquiring DK Metcalf, the Chargers went backwards and brought back Mike Williams. He was past his prime, so he retired, and now they’re reuniting with another former friend, Keenan Allen. Quarterback Justin Herbert is still a top 5 signal-caller in this league, but he will only succeed as long as head coach Jim Harbaugh puts him in the right situation.
Baltimore Ravens
Meanwhile, the Baltimore Ravens always find themselves an inch closer to an AFC Championship Game. After losing Zay Flowers during the postseason this year, it put a lot of pressure on quarterback Lamar Jackson to lean on Rashod Bateman and other pass-catchers. Perhaps, if Brown becomes available on the trade block, the Ravens should take advantage to boost their Super Bowl aspirations, as Jackson isn’t getting any younger himself and is looking to win a ring.
New Orleans Saints
This might be a long shot, but if the Saints play their cards right as far as their salary cap space, they could target AJ Brown. The Saints have two upshot receivers in Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed, but the biggest concern is whether they can stay healthy. Brown might not single-handedly save this team, but if Kellen Moore can build a championship roster in New Orleans, he could reunite with the wide receiver to bring a possible Super Bowl for the first time since the Drew Brees era.
Washington Commanders
The Eagles will never trade any of their players to their rival. However, Brown did have some sideline issues with the Eagles after not being used properly last season. If those issues continue to persist and Terry McLaurin can’t find a way to agree to a contract, the Commanders could target him in free agency if he becomes available.
