It’s sometimes difficult to remember when you dominate on the field that it doesn’t come with some sort of controversy. As the Eagles were closing The Linc in January of 2025 for the season with a 55–23 romp of the Washington Commanders. In the shadow of that resounding victory — both Landon Dickerson and Cam Jurgens were banged up with injuries. Right after the season– the Eagles would lose Mekhi Becton to the Chargers on a large deal.
This week — the Eagles signed undrafted free agent rookie offensive linemen Marcus Tate after an impressive Eagles rookie mini camp. Tate — who impressed the Eagles during camp. Tate contributed to over 40 games for Clemson and over 2,500 snaps. At 6 foot 5–321 pounds, Tate is another key addition to Jeff Stoutland’s offensive line.
The addition of Tate places him on the same roster as Super Bowl Champion Eagles Will Shipley, Jeremiah Trotter Jr., and K.J. Henry. The Eagles — who are famous for plucking talent from prominent D1 schools as Georgia and Alabama — now seem to be well-versed in scouting the Clemson D1 Football Program.
The Eagles also added former Alabama running back Keilan Robinson off of waivers. Robinson played high school football at St. John’s Catholic High School and would lead his squad to the Title of the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference. The four-star recruit would commit to Alabama and then would transfer to Texas where he played three seasons as a Longhorn. In 2022 — the rings were featured on the History Channel Show Pawn Stars were his — selling for a reported $40,000.00. Robinson was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the 167th selection in the 2024 draft.
