Two of Villanova’s most successful players are making a homecoming and bringing their well-known podcast, The Roommates Show to the Finneran Pavilion on Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m.
Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart are now stars for the New York Knicks, but were once members of Villanova’s national championship teams. Brunson won two titles and Hart won one with the program.
This live event will be open to the public and will serve as the unofficial kickoff to the men’s and women’s basketball seasons. Both teams will be introduced before the start of the podcast, with fans being able to partake in on-court activities like a three-point contest and a dunk contest. Head coaches Denise Dillon and Kevin Willard are also both expected to be interviewed by the former Wildcats.
The Roommates Show has quickly become one of the top NBA podcast and has featured guests like Knicks teammates Karl-Anthony Towns and former Villanova teammate Mikal Bridges, Knicks owner James Dolan and Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, Edie Falco, who depicted Carmela Soprano in The Sopranos, rapper Lil’ Wayne and former WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson.
Hart and Brunson are also expected to announce a guest for the show with ties to the Philadelphia area in the coming days.
