Another game for the 2025-26 is on the books… Jon Rothstein is sharing that his sources are noting that Villanova will begin a home-and-home this season with an old BIG EAST foe, Pitt.

This will be the first meeting between the cross-state schools since 2013. Historically, the series is very even with the Panthers holding a 1 game lead in the 65-game series 63-62.
Nova’s last win over PITT came in 2009 when a certain Scottie Reynolds crushed the Final Four dreams of the Panther faithful in the NCAA Tournament.
