CSB Sports’ Jon Rothstein has shared the inside tip that Villanova will be hosting the University of Cincinnati in the 2024 BIG EAST – Big 12 Battle.

In what is likely to be the final year of the inter-conference “Battle,” the Wildcats will face their sixth school in six years after playing Kansas State in 2023, Oklahoma in ‘22, and traveling to Waco to play Baylor in 2021. ‘Nova also played the Texas Longhorn in Austin in 2020, and defeated then #1 Kansas in the 2019-20 season in previous iterations of the Inter-Conference Battle.
The Wildcats are historically 6-4 against the Bearcats but have not played each other since Cincinnati left the BIG EAST for The American Conference after the conclusion of the 2013 season.
