Villanova is heading to the 2022 Final Four. Unfortunately, the Wildcats may be without one of their best players moving forward.
Justin Moore, a 6-foot-4 guard for Villanova, left Saturday night’s Elite Eight game vs. Houston with a potentially serious injury. He was seen on crutches after the game.
Villanova head coach Jay Wright had a concerning update on his star player after tonight’s game.
The good news is Moore didn’t suffer any broken bones. The bad news is Wright admitted his player is going to get an MRI soon and it’s “probably not good,” per Wright.
“The X-ray was fine. No broken bones,” he said, via ESPN’s Jeff Borzello. “But it’s probably not good for Justin. We’re going to get an MRI when we get back. But it’s probably not good.”

Justin Moore is a savvy two-way player who’s totally bought into Jay Wright’s system. His availability for the Final Four is going to be in question all next week.
Moore will undergo an MRI to determine the extent of his lower leg injury when Villanova arrives back home.
Villanova, meanwhile, is awaiting its Final Four opponent. The Wildcats will play the winner of No. 1 Kansas vs. No. 10 Miami. Those two teams will battle it out on Sunday.
