For years, Villanova head coach Jay Wright would sport the finest double-breasted suits in college basketball. Unfortunately, he has ditched that look for casual clothes.
With the Final Four a little over 24 hours away, the college basketball world has just learned that Wright didn’t even pack a suit with him for the Wildcats’ upcoming game.
That’s not what basketball fans wanted to hear, especially since this Saturday’s game could be the final one of the 2021-22 season for Villanova.

“I’m all for this, but it is a crime to think about the valuation of the wardrobe going unused here,” one fan said.

Villanova’s president, Peter Donohue, has bothered Wright in the past about going back to his suits.
“He always jokes with me about it, like ‘Hey, for the Big East Tournament, how about a suit? For the NCAA Tournament, how about a suit?’ He hasn’t hit me yet with ‘Final Four, how about a suit?’ But he jokes about it,” Wright said, via The Guam Daily Post.
Regardless if he’s wearing a suit or casual clothes, Wright is always bringing his ‘A’ game to the sidelines.
