The Philadelphia 76ers have messaged an optimism that Ben Simmons may be willing to rejoin the team if he’s not traded before the deadline.
While numerous figures affiliated with Simmons have insisted he’ll never play for the 76ers again, sources tell Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report that there are people around Simmons who have pushed him to retake the floor if he’s not traded.
Simmons has yet to play this season and has not received a pay check since October.
Simmons has four seasons remaining on his current contract with the 76ers.
