We’re exactly one week away from the first round of the 2025 NBA draft, and the slop is dropping on a daily basis at this point.
On Tuesday alone, ESPN’s Jonathan Givony wrote that VJ Edgecombe appears to be “the leader in the clubhouse” if the Sixers stick with the No. 3 pick rather than trading up or down, as Ace Bailey lost “momentum after refusing to visit, initially unsatisfied with his search for a proven pathway to development.” Meanwhile, longtime NBA insider Jake Fischer wrote at The Stein Line that the Sixers and Charlotte Hornets “have signaled to rival teams that they will listen to trade offers until they’re on the clock at No. 3 and No. 4.”
