The Philadelphia 76ers exercised their third-year team option for Jared McCain, announced team president Daryl Morey on Thursday.
The contract now keeps McCain with the team through the 2026-27 season.
McCain has yet to appear this season after suffering a UCL tear in his right thumb in September.
McCain averaged 15.3 points in 23 games last season.
