Basketball is almost (unofficially) back!
Free agency is in full swing, and the Philadelphia 76ers have just unveiled their roster for the 2025 Summer League. The team will open play in Utah before heading to Las Vegas to face off against the rest of the league.

Headlining the Summer Sixers are their newest draft picks: VJ Edgecombe, Johni Broome, and Hunter Sallis — the latter signed as an undrafted free agent. They’ll be joined by some familiar faces, including Justin Edwards, who recently signed a standard NBA contract, and Adem Bona.
Judah Mintz, who spent most of last season with the Delaware Blue Coats, is also returning. Jalen Hood-Schifino, signed last year by the Sixers after being waived by the Lakers, is back as well. Keve Aluma, a member of last year’s Summer League squad, rounds out the returning group.
Several players on the roster were signed by the Sixers after the 2025 draft on Exhibit 10 deals — signaling they’ll likely spend next season with the Delaware Blue Coats. That group includes Izan Almansa. It was also reported that Igor Milicic Jr. was expected to join the team on an Exhibit 10 contract, though he was ultimately left off the final Summer League roster.
Newcomers to the Summer Sixers roster include Jalen Slawson, Caleb Stone-Carrawell, Mark Armstrong, Andrew Funk, Landers Nolley II, Saint Thomas, Jack Clark, and Stefan Todorovic — all making their first appearance with the organization.
Among the new faces on the Summer Sixers roster is Slawson, a 6-foot-7 small forward and 2023 second-round pick by the Sacramento Kings. He’s spent time in the G League with both the Stockton Kings and Osceola Magic. Stone-Carrawell, another 6-foot-7 forward, most recently played for Loyola Marymount, where he averaged 13.4 points per game while shooting 34.8 percent from three on high volume.
Many Sixers fans will recognize Armstrong, who played at Villanova from 2022 to 2024. After going undrafted in 2024, he spent last season with the Long Island Nets, averaging 10.8 points and 2.4 assists in 21.9 minutes across 23 games.
Funk, a native of Warrington, PA, played a year at Penn State before going undrafted in 2023. Since then, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard has bounced around the G League and had a short stint with the Chicago Bulls. He averaged 9.7 points per game last season with the Grand Rapids Gold.
Nolley II is a 6-foot-7 wing with multiple overseas stops, most recently playing for Homenetmen Beirut in the Lebanese Basketball League. Thomas, another 6-foot-7 forward — yes, there’s a trend — went undrafted in the 2025 draft. He last played at USC, where he averaged 9.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game.
Jack Clark, a native of Cheltenham, PA, last played for VCU, going undrafted in the 2025 draft. The 6-foot-10 forward averaged 9.7 points and 6.9 rebounds with the Rams, while shooting 47.8 percent from the field and 34.8 percent from three. Lastly, Stefan Todorovic rounds out the group. The 6-foot-8 forward spent his college career at Pepperdine, where he averaged 18.3 points and 5.5 rebounds during his senior season.
A common theme on the roster is emerging: a mix of local talent and a strong presence of forwards. The Sixers might not have to look far to find a replacement for Guerschon Yabusele, as several of these players could compete for a roster spot or a two-way contract. The good news? You won’t have to wait long to see them in action — the Summer League tips off in Salt Lake City on July 5.
