The Sixers, when they’re hopefully healthy at long last, are off to Abu Dhabi for part of their 2025-26 preseason.
I hope you’ve been enjoying a break from Sixers tanking basketball and some proper playoff action over the last week or so.
We’ve got just over five months until we need to worry about Sixers basketball again, but we do know now one game on the team’s 2025-26 preseason schedule when it gets here. The Sixers have announced they’ll be heading to Abu Dhabi for a matchup against the Knicks.
New York finished the season third in the East at 51-31, with the fifth-best offense and 13th-ranked defense, and are currently tied at 1-1 in their first-round playoff series against the Pistons.

It’s a little unfortunate that every player on the Sixers’ graphic — every one of the team’s stars — is injured right now… But that’s just the sort of year it’s been.
That’s all months away for now, though. In the meantime, keep enjoying the playoffs as a spectator, and all our content to get you ready for the NBA Draft — like rankings of the top prospects and who the Sixers could draft if their pick falls outside the top four.
Then hopefully by the time this preseason game rolls around, there’ll be an exciting new lottery prospect and better health on the Sixers’ side.
