Less than 24 hours ago, I wrote “Kyle Kuzma: The Sixers’ Dream Trade?” and concluded a Sixers trade for Kyle Kuzma would largely be a lateral move for the Sixers’ offense and a slight improvement for their defense. After watching the Sixers’ February 5th loss against the Mavs and Tobias’ 2nd straight blunder in the final seconds of a game, a revision is necessary. Kyle Kuzma has developed something the current Sixer is sorely lacking, pure klutch. This season, the Wizards have trusted Kyle in the bottom of the fourth and he has delivered several times. In close games, he does not wilt or turn over the ball, an area the Sixers struggle in. He can take on difficult defensive assignments and contribute on both ends. When a team like the Sixers struggles to hold their leads in the second half, what they really need may be some ice-kold Kuzmania.
