LeBron James Appears To Blame The Media For Joel Embiid’s Injury

LeBron James is not a fan of how the media has spoken about Joel Embiid lately and seems to think that the media is to blame for his recent injury.

Taking to X on Friday, LeBron admonished media outlets and analysts for trash-talking Embiid to the point where the 76ers superstar may have felt the need to play just to prove them wrong – only to get injured again. He criticized them for not apologizing to him either.

“Where are all the media outlets, tv media personalities, hot takes that talked so much (expletive) about Joel Embiid about missing those games when he knew what he was dealing with,” LeBron wrote.

“Now he’s out with an injury because of it. Not 1 person has went back on tv or their dumbass podcast and apologized to that MAN!! No accountability.”

Joel Embiid suffered a meniscus injury and will be out for at least the next few games along with potentially more.

The former MVP and seven-time All-Star was only a few days removed from a career-high 70 points when he suffered one injury, missed two games and came back a little bit early, only to suffer a brand new injury against the Golden State Warriors earlier this week.

LeBron might be directing his anger at the wrong people though.
