Justin Edwards has agreed to sign a new three-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers after the team declined their $1.9 million option for 2025-26. Reid will receive two guaranteed seasons on the new contract and will earn $2 million next season after his promising rookie season.
Edwards appeared in 44 games last season with the Sixers, averaging 10.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 26.2 minutes. Reid also shot 36.3 percent on 4.3 three-pointers per game. The Sixers converted Edwards from a Two-Way to a standard NBA contract in February.
In 18 G League games last season, Edwards averaged 17.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 30.7 minutes.
Edwards, who went undrafted out of Kentucky in 2024, is represented by Rich Paul. Edwards is also a native of Philadelphia.
