Marc Zumoff: I got to go to a game the first year the team moved from Syracuse, starting in the 1963-64 season. I don’t know what I did to deserve all of that. To me, the whole thing has been surreal. It really has, that I had the chance to do this. That I could play basketball by myself in the driveway because the other kids were at summer camp and I couldn’t afford to go and was announcing myself, dreaming that I would one day do this and now have a chance to do it. And now looking back on it, it’s hard to believe that it actually happened. But people tell me that it did.
